Were the Moving Phoenix Lights Really Aircraft?

Introduction

The aircraft hypothesis became more specific over time. Researchers such as retired Air Force pilot and astronomer James McGaha argued that the moving formation was consistent with A-10 Thunderbolt II aircraft participating in military training linked to Operation Snowbird.
